You hereby release, discharge, and agree to hold harmless FUFC, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and agents from any and all liability or responsibility for any and all injuries, illnesses, damages, claims, or causes of action that my child may suffer or incur while participating in any FUFC-organised activities, except for those arising from the gross negligence or willful misconduct of FUFC or its representatives. You understand that this release covers liability, claims, and actions caused entirely or in part by any acts or failures to act by FUFC, its staff, or other players, including but not limited to negligence, mistake, or failure to supervise by FUFC. You further agree to indemnify and hold harmless FUFC and its representatives from any claims arising from my child's participation in FUFC activities or any injuries or damages resulting therefrom. You agree for FUFC or its representatives to administer basic first aid and emergency medical treatment if necessary. FUFC reserves the right to remove from our programme, without refund, anyone who is found to be bullying, misbehaving or displaying disruptive behaviour – or is otherwise in breach of our policies. You must declare all medical conditions during registration and keep FUFC up-to-date should this change by emailing/calling us at - info@sportsociety.co.uk / 07592093803. You must declare to FUFC if you do not want your child to be photographed or filmed for marketing use, and keep us updated should this change using the given email address or phone number. Your membership is not confirmed until payment has been received. Paid for spaces will be given priority. Refunds will not be issued for missed sessions due to your own circumstances. If there are any sessions missed due to bad weather, FUFC will offer a make-up session, or parents will be refunded. There is a 1/2 term notice period to receive a refund for a cancellation. All players must read the Player Checklist and sign and return the Player Contract ahead of participating each season. All parents/carers must read and adhere to the Parents Code of Conduct. Formal Membership As part of the registration of your child for FUFC, you become a formal member of it. As part of that membership, you understand that FUFC is a company limited by guarantee and that: As such, it has members rather than shareholders, who are each entitled amongst other things to attend general meetings and cast a vote; elect directors by voting at the members’ meeting; and vote on any significant changes to FUFC, its purpose, its name or how any profit is applied. Any profit made by FUFC will be retained as a contribution towards the cost of activities in future years. A member will not, therefore, be entitled to receive any dividend or other distribution from FUFC, including if FUFC is wound up. FUFC’s constitution is contained in the articles of association, its rules and by-laws. A copy of the articles and the other rules made to date is available to members on request. If FUFC is wound up, the maximum, a member commits to paying towards FUFC’s debts is £1. This is the guarantee a person would make upon becoming a member, as described in the articles of association, and applies for the time a person is a member and 12 months thereafter. Accordingly, you hereby apply to become a member of the above Company and agree: To be bound by the provisions of FUFC’s articles of association, its rules and by-laws from time to time. To guarantee the debts of FUFC up to a maximum amount of £1 if FUFC is wound up while you are a member and for a period of up to 12 months after your membership ends.
